Dinner Cruise

Simply put, a dinner cruise is a party on a boat. These parties can range in size from an intimate setting for 2 to a small gathering for family and friends or a whopping 600 person gala! This can all happen on a boat. The cruises are shorter in length, 3-4 hours usually but that depends on the event and the boats are smaller in size as opposed to large cruise liners.

The dining area of the cruisers will seat guests at large round tables similar to large ocean liners. Many of these dinner cruises are buffet style or you can have a sit down dinner as well. Ordering drinks ahead of time is always encouraged. Enjoying your drinks while getting to know your fellow diners is one of the fabulous highlights of an evening like this.

After dinner, there are always areas where you can take a drink and linger on the deck watching what is normally a spectacular cityscape in the evening. It’s not a party without music. So, depending upon the ship you dine on, you will be serenaded by either a DJ or a live band. There will of course, be room for dancing.

Dinner cruise companies know how important music is to the experience their guests have. When you book a cruise, you’ll usually be allowed to choose the party with the kind of music you like. If they don’t immediately provide you with this option, then ask. It’s too important an aspect to leave to chance.

Now, if you want to really have a very special event on a dinner cruise you can do that as well. Many weddings have been launched aboard a dinner cruise. The cruise can be used just for the reception or for the ceremony as well. What about a special birthday or religious holiday. To make these days extra special and memorable for years, there is nothing like a dinner cruise.

A dinner cruise wedding on a private yacht can be perfection for the right couple. This type of venue is truly unique for receptions and ceremonies on the water. Book yourself a lavish or scaled down wedding package. Customized your color scheme, flowers, decorations, the menu, and all the other little details that make a wedding truly yours. Plan something intimate or make it a grand smashing affair. Either way you’ll be celebrating your love with family and friends on the water. This fluid flowing symbol of relationships and emotions.

A fabulous aspect of planning an event or wedding on a dinner cruise ship is the fact that many of them are climate controlled. Which means you are not limited to a certain time of year to take advantage of the high seas. There are ships available with large enclosed deck areas that are perfect to watch icy waters from with a drink in hand. All in all, if you love the water and love a good party then booking a dinner cruise is guaranteed to be a great night of fun!
